Fält Communications have moved to new office premises

On the 1st of July 2005, Fält Communications moved to new office premises. Our days at the company park Umestan are all over, and we wish to thank Umestan for a good and smooth co-operation over the years. Fält Communications will now strive towards a bright future in new, light and fresh premises at Ersboda in Umea. The new premises, which are adapted to completely suit the company’s needs, were originally built for the swedish telecoms operator Telia in the 90’s. Thanks to this, the premises are very well suited for our kind of business and development activities.
Thanks to moving to our new premises, we get access to an infrastructure with solutions that supports our operation fully, including:
– A new switchboard solution is introduced, guaranteeing full reachability for our marketing and support personnel 24 hour per day, if needed.
– A custom built server hall with full temperature control and fire protection adapted to the server room operation that guarantees that we can host our customer solutions in the best thinkable way after delivery. The server hall is also prepared for a succesive transfer to the cutting edge server architectures, which lays a stable fundament for the company’s planned expansion.
– A new internet access supplier is engaged to guarantee best possible quality of services and uptime. With today’s solution, we have never had any problems in delivering as promised, but with the new internet access provider, we will have a foundation for the larger assignments that we see coming. As a bonus, the bandwidth of our internet access is upgraded, and our intra-office LAN is built using absolute state-of-the-art components.
Unfortunately, the engagement of the new Internet access provider will make us have to change IP addresses (Internet addresses). We are of course 100% committed to not let this disturb any solutions that we are hosting for our customers today.
– We will in the future launch a web shop, making it possible for our customers to shop our products at any time of day that suits them, and to guarantee safest and fastest possible deliveries.

The personnel and management of the company are looking forwards to run the business in the new and very well suited premises. We are completely convinced that this will also be of the benefit for our beloved customers in many different ways!
