Danish City-Trafik uses a system that provides traffic control information with the position of 30 buses along a bus line through Copenhagen. This allows the control centre to see immediately where the buses are located on a map and if one will be late. The results are improved punctuality. A new bus should arrive at each bus stop along the A1 bus line every five minutes, 24-hours a day. To help ensure this occurs, each bus reports its position every 30 seconds. Traffic control at City-Trafik keeps track of the buses through a modern web interface developed by Hogia.
